Meet Jack
Third-generation Falmouth. Still refereeing the town's youth soccer games.
Jack Richardson is a third-generation, lifelong Falmouth resident. His family ran the Elm Arch Inn in the heart of downtown for almost a century.
He grew up all over this town — hiking with the family dog in the Crane Wildlife area, swimming at Old Silver Beach, playing soccer in Falmouth Heights. As a teenager he worked at local ice cream shops and restaurants and started refereeing youth soccer games, which he still does today. He is running to protect both the environment he grew up in and the working class that makes the Upper Cape what it is.
His father is a landscaper and a former innkeeper. His mother is an Army National Guard employee at Joint Base Cape Cod. As the son of a M.O.S.E.S. and a N.A.G.E. member, Jack is committed to strengthening unions to fight income inequality and win fair wages across every trade.
After Falmouth Public Schools he went to American University in Washington. On federal work-study, he pulled shifts as a campus barista before and between classes, and spent his junior and senior years working full time on Capitol Hill — for Democratic Senate campaigns from around the country — while helping campaigns back home. He knows what college costs, and he intends to bring that price down.
On his first day as a staffer on Beacon Hill, Jack signed his IBEW 222 union card. Everyone deserves the right to organize.
He then served as district director for State Senator Dylan Fernandes, working with towns and community groups to make sure their voices were heard in Boston, and acting as point person on more than $36 million in earmarks for towns, nonprofits, and projects across the South Shore and Upper Cape.

Ro Khanna is Deputy Whip of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. He takes no corporate PAC money and has been one of the loudest voices against federal immigration raids and the billionaires bankrolling them. He is asking the Upper Cape to send Jack Richardson to Beacon Hill and end the MAGA-aligned Massachusetts GOP's fourteen-year hold on this seat.
